Palo Santo comes from the Andian indigenous Bursera Graveolens tree, its wood and oil have been used for medicinal and spiritual purposes in South America as far back as the Incas. The tree lives about 40-90 years and produces a naturally hypoallergenic resin that enrichens with age. After the tree dies the wood matures four to ten more years before it falls, it is then that it is consecrated as "sacred wood", or Palo Santo.
Incausa ensures the highest quality, and by respecting this process, hand choses the trees offerings and reserves a select portion of high resin Peruvian Palo Santo wood.
